Investment Strategy

Aperion views each company in which we invest as a unique asset, never as just part of a portfolio, and we actively exercise the responsibilities of ownership in each company.  This approach is distinct from that of most private equity firms, which aim to achieve their return objectives for a portfolio as a whole.

• Invest in companies only where we believe in excellence of management.  We believe the most critical factor in achieving a successful private equity investment is the strength of and alignment of incentives with the management team. This principle governs everything we do, from our approach to evaluating investment opportunities to our interactions with our management partners and investors

• Establish true partnership with management through relationship building and appropriate structuring of compensation and incentives – Aperion strives to be the true first choice amongst private equity firms for management

• Without interfering in day to day operations, Aperion will provide real,  hands-on guidance to management with respect to strategy, operations (at a strategic level), finance, acquisitions and employment matters

• In each case, Aperion will work closely with one of our seasoned operating advisors, with direct and relevant experience in their respective industries, to identify potential investment targets, assist with the due diligence process, and provide post-investment management support
